      When I used VirtualBox the first time to run the Beckhoff Win64 VM with Virtual Box I had ‘Fatal: INT18: boot failure’

      I could solve this problem with the VirtualBox setting:
      Settings -> System -> Motherboard -> Enable ‘EFI’

      Important detail:
      Enable EFI:

      Settings -> System -> Motherboard

      OR

      vboxmanage modifyvm vmname –firmware efi
