In Peru the biologist and enviromental engineer Mariano Morikawa together with a team of scientists from South Korea have managed to develop a new mask model that would eliminate up to 650 viruses and bascteria, including COVID-19.
This mask, which they have called as “Eco Silver Plus” was created within three months and it has five layers of protection. One of them contains a fine fabric of silver threads that has an antibacterial and antiviral function that not just blocks, but eliminates up to 99.9% of viruses and bacteria
In een interview with Agencia Andina, the scientist explains that using his knowlegde in nanotechnology, he was able to enhance this mask by providing better benefits and increasing the protection at maximum for those who wears it.
How does it work?
